2021 Grand List Motor Vehicle Values

In Cromwell, motor vehicle values have increased by 24% for the October 1, 2021 Grand List. The median increase over the 2020 Grand List for the State of CT is 26.4%

We know it can be frustrating and upsetting as we are used to seeing our car values decrease with age; but unfortunately, this may not be the case for many of us this year.

The following link contains some articles that may help explain what caused the increase:  https://caao.com/wp-content/uploads/Motor-vehicle-value-articles-Late-20... .

Motor vehicles in Connecticut are currently valued as of October 1 using the NADA books.  If you would like the October 1, 2021 value of your vehicle, we will be happy to look it up for you or you are welcome to come into the Office to review the book yourself if you prefer.
