I don’t live in Cromwell and I received a tax bill from Cromwell do I need to have the bill moved to my new Town?

Motor Vehicles are assessed on October 1st and are payable to the Town you were a resident on this date. There is no proration between Towns. If you moved after October 1 you would pay Cromwell for the next July bill. You will receive a tax bill from your new Town the next year if you have updated your address with DMV prior to October 1.
