1. Ongoing Programs & Services


A permission slip, available below, must be completed for each youth participating in any Cromwell Youth Services program(s). If registering multiple children, please use a new form for each child. Please specify the desired program(s) on the "Service/Program Sought" line. By providing a time frame (max: 1 calendar year) for the authorization of the permission slip at the top of the page, youth may be registered for additional programs within that time frame without completing another form. Some programs may require more information or additional forms. It is preferable that forms are dropped off in person, emailed to KPuorro@cromwellct.com, or mailed. Feel free to contact Cromwell Youth Services with any questions.




Helping Process

Counseling, Advocacy, and Referrals:

Cromwell Youth Services provides support for young people and their families facing a variety of issues and obstacles (including court proceedings, PPT's, family issues, & more). We're here to listen, provide crisis intervention and referrals when things go wrong for young people or their parents. Please call the Youth Services office to make an appointment.





Cromwell Belden Public Library and Youth Services Teen Volunteer Program:

Designed for teens looking for community service hours or an opportunity to volunteer and give back! Teens can sign up for opportunities within the library, senior services, social services, and/or youth services by filling out the form below. If you are seeking volunteer work within senior, social, or youth services, please complete a Cromwell Youth Services permission slip as well.





H.O.Y. (Hire Our Youth):

Are you a Cromwell teen looking for work? Are you a Cromwell Community member looking for help? Hire Our Youth matches teens to members of the Cromwell community looking for help with all kinds of odd jobs. There is a variety of work available such as babysitting, pet care, housework, yard work, shoveling, window washing, light housework, etc. If you are a teen interested in the Hire Our Youth Program, please fill out the Cromwell Youth Services Permission Slip and the Hire Our Youth YOUTH Form (below). Potential employers should complete a Hire Our Youth EMPLOYER form (below).

Kin Care: 

Support group for Grandparents and Relatives raising children. NEW MEETING INFORMATION: The group meets every second Thursday of the month in the Activity Room at Town Hall at 12:30PM. Contact Youth Services for more information. 




Additionally, we offer rotating programs and services, including holiday programs, assemblies & presentations, in-school student support services summer programs, family events and more! We are also in the exciting process of developing new offerings!
