Sergeant Carlson and Bane

K9 Bane is a Male German Shepherd and is from the Czech Republic. Bane was purchased from Kennel Zo Slovsenkeho Dvora, located in Trumbull, CT.  Bane is K-9 Chinocertified in patrol, tracking, and narcotics detection and is assigned to Sergeant John Carlson. He became a member of the Cromwell, CT Police Department in March 2017. He began Police Training in March of 2017 as part of the Connecticut State Police 187th Patrol Dog Academy. Sergeant Carlson and Bane completed approximately 16 weeks at the academy and graduated in July 2017. Bane graduated from the Connecticut State Police 193rd Narcotics Detection Academy in March of 2018.

Bane lives with Sergeant Carlson where he is a member of the Carlson family off duty. Sergeant Carlson and Bane are constantly training. Sergeant Carlson and Bane attend monthly training with the CT State Police K-9 Unit and also train on a daily basis. Sergeant Carlson and Bane go out of town, at times, to assist other towns when needed.

Bane
