Things to Do Around Cromwell

In search of a variety of fun experiences, "A la New England"? You've come to the right place!

We've got the annual PGA’s Travelers Championship (formerly the Greater Hartford Open) golf tournament for one thing. And if you're already planning to come to the Championship, or visiting Cromwell for another reason, why not enjoy some of our other attractions as well? We have a wide variety of restaurants, hotels, recreation activities and sports clubs.

The Town’s northern gateway, Main Street (Route 99), is known best for the Tournament Players Country Club, but one can also find restaurants, pubs, and personal services like dry cleaning or hair salons. The Route 372 corridor also has many national retail stores and food establishments.

At its most southerly end, the Town’s historic Riverport is located. The Riverport is Cromwell’s traditional downtown. Among the venues there are a tea room, antique store, and a water color studio. In addition to the commercial activity, the Riverport is also home to two beautiful riverfront parks.
