Cromwell Riverport Festival 2007
This year, the 12th annual, Riverport festival will be held on Thursday through Sunday, September 13th, 14th, 15th and 16th, in the historic downtown area of Cromwell.
Thursday night launches our festival off with a Wristband night at the amusements. The all-night, all-rides wristband will be available for $15.00.
Friday night a football game featuring our Cromwell Panthers will start the ball rolling. After the game, all can enjoy amusements and food provided by Imperial Shows and music preformed by the Accounting Crows.
The big day ... Saturday! Starting this year, we are not closing off Main Street and we will have all activities in the block between Main Street, West Street and Community Field Road. There will be the usual booths for businesses, civic and charitable groups and local associations to showcase their products, programs, events and give-aways.
It's a festive 4-day event for both Cromwell residents and visitors.
The committee planning this event wants to encourage Cromwell businesses to participate in the activities scheduled for this exciting day. Your business is very important to our community. It represents the continued growth of our town's economic development.
The committee is hard at work developing the events for the day, which will include games, entertainment, children's rides and more. Saturday's festivities will also include the much anticipated fireworks and the amusement rides will go on until 11:00 p.m. (after a short break during the fireworks).
