The Registrars of Voters are the Administrators of all elections, primaries and referenda held in the Town of Cromwell. These duties include publishing notices in the local newspaper(s), performing supervised voting in the nursing/rest homes in the Town of Cromwell, hiring poll workers, assisting machine mechanics in the set up of the polling place, and to provide an accurate Official Voting List. Registrars are also responsible for a variety of daily activities including:
·The registration or removal of electors on a day to day basis
·To maintain the Town of Cromwell electors in the State Wide Computerized Data Base
·To submit periodic reports to The Office of the Secretary of the State
You may register in person during our office hours, or you may also register in the Town Clerks office. If it is more convenient you can either call or email us and one of the Registrars will send you a registration card in the mail.
