ADMINISTRATIVE POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
Registration Procedures:
All programs are open to Cromwell residents first. If, as a start date approaches, there is still room available, non residents may register for programs. All registrations must be made prior to the published registration deadline or at least one week prior to start of class.
Registration Fees are due at the time of registration in full. If a resident is unable to pay in full, a contract can be made with the department for partial payments to be completed in full before the end of the program.
Full scholarships are available by talking with the administrative staff.
The department will try to accommodate late registrations if room still exists in the program but there is no guarantee of placement after deadline dates or class start dates.
The department will make full refunds only if a class is cancelled by the department due to lack of registrations or calls made prior to the start of a class/program for personal cancellation. Partial refunds will be given with a doctor’s note. No refunds will be given if participant misses classes or program and department is not notified prior to start.
All registration forms must be signed by an adult if participant is under the age of 18 and if program is for an adult they must sign it.
The department will only call if there is a question on the registration or if class is full or cancelled. If you do not hear, your registration has been accepted. No telephone registrations will be accepted for any programs.
Cancellation Notification:
If a class or program is cancelled due to lack of registrations, you will be called by department and any fee returned in full.
If a programs is cancelled for that date due to weather issues, notification will be made to all local television stations (in winter), on the department telephone line and on the department web page calendar.
